About the Programme

The 11-Day Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on “Contemporary Legal Education, Research, Technology & Professional Practice” is designed as an intensive academic and professional development initiative aimed at enhancing the competencies of legal educators, researchers, and scholars. The programme seeks to strengthen participants’ capabilities in legal education, advanced research methodologies, academic writing and publication, technology integration, and professional legal practice, thereby contributing meaningfully to institutional and individual capacity-building goals.

In an era marked by rapid transformation in legal pedagogy, research paradigms, and technological intervention, this CBP provides a comprehensive platform to engage with contemporary challenges and emerging opportunities in legal education and the legal profession.

Objectives of the Programme

The Capacity Building Programme aims to:

  • Strengthen the academic and research capacities of law teachers, researchers, and scholars
  • Enhance understanding of contemporary developments in legal education and the legal profession
  • Build practical competence in legal research, academic writing, and publication processes
  • Provide exposure to technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and interdisciplinary approaches in law
  • Facilitate academic networking, institutional collaboration, and joint research opportunities
  • Offer structured publication support through peer-reviewed edited volumes

Eligibility

Law students, graduates, academicians and faculty members, research scholars (LL.M., Ph.D.), advocates and legal practitioners, in-house legal professionals, policy researchers, think-tank members, judicial aspirants and any one else interested.

Publication Support

As part of the CBP, participants shall be offered publication support, including:

  • Two (2) complimentary publications per participant
