About the Competition
The Kautilya Society of National Law University Tripura, in collaboration with Vidhi – Centre for Legal Policy (Crime and Punishment Vertical), is organizing this essay writing competition to invite students to critically analyse contemporary issues related to crime and punishment in India. Participants are encouraged to propose creative, principled, and reform-oriented solutions for criminal law in modern India.

- 1st Position: ₹5,000
- 2nd Position: ₹3,000
- 3rd Position: ₹2,000
Eligibility
The competition is open to students from Standard 12 onwards, irrespective of academic background. Students from any discipline with an interest in criminal law, public policy, and justice systems are encouraged to participate.
