About the Job

Homeville Consulting Private Limited is hiring a Legal Manager to handle legal functions with a focus on mortgage-related matters and the affordable housing finance sector.

Eligibility

Qualification:

• LL.B. from a reputed law college

Experience:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience

Skills & Requirements:

• Strong non-litigation experience in mortgages
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
• Knowledge of Marathi, Hindi, or any regional language would be an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Provide legal assistance to the company
• Conduct due diligence of properties to be mortgaged
• Review LSR/TSR and provide legal opinions
• Conduct property searches and prepare search reports
• Carry out legal due diligence for creation of mortgage (equitable/registered/extension) across India
• Prepare mortgage documentation
• Assist internal teams with legal queries, documentation, and stamp duty matters
