3M is hiring for the position of Analyst – Legal as part of its Global Legal Service Center (GLSC). The role involves supporting 3M Legal Affairs across multiple practice areas including Business Counsel, Employment & Benefits, and Legal Operations.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Law from an accredited institution with strong academic credentials
Minimum 4 years of experience in general legal services or in-house legal support
Strong legal judgment and ability to apply rules, playbooks, and precedents
High attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume work
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Experience reviewing marketing or promotional materials
Familiarity with regulated claims, disclaimers, and product communications
Exposure to legal operations or shared service environments
Comfort with legal technology and AI-enabled tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Additional legal certifications or relevant continuing legal education

Responsibilities

Review marketing, promotional, and business collaterals for legal compliance
Identify risks related to claims substantiation, disclaimers, trademarks, and third-party materials
Apply legal judgment and escalate issues where necessary
Support legal services related to Business Counsel and Employment & Benefits teams
Create, review, and improve process documentation and reporting
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including legal technology and AI tools
