About the Certificate Course on Corporate and Commercial Legal Drafting

LawMarg is launching a 12-week Corporate and Commercial Legal Drafting course with Viaan Legal and Vidhitva Law Partners, focused entirely on practical drafting. It covers nine areas including litigation, corporate transactions, banking, insolvency, arbitration, and employment. The course involves working on 35+ full documents and 15+ key clauses such as indemnity, liability, and shareholder rights.

Participants draft pleadings, agreements, IBC filings, and arbitration petitions. The training emphasises structuring documents, strategic drafting, and risk allocation. The aim is to build real drafting ability across practice areas rather than just conceptual understanding.

About Internship Recommendation for Top 5 Performers

An assessment shall be conducted upon completion of all sessions. The top five scorers shall be recommended for internship opportunities. Such recommendations will be made to select Indian organisations, which may include certain organisations associated with the course panellists, but not necessarily all. The final discretion regarding the allotment, scope, and eligibility of internships shall vest solely with the course organiser.
