The Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia, established in 1989, has emerged as a leading institution for legal education in India. Over the years, it has made notable progress by restructuring its courses, introducing innovative teaching methods, and strengthening its clinical legal education to meet the evolving demands of the legal profession. The faculty offers a comprehensive range of programs, including a five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) was introduced in 2002, a two-year LL.M. with specialisations in Personal Laws, Corporate Laws, and Criminal Laws, as well as a Ph.D. in Law.

The Legal Research Committee at the Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia is a student-driven initiative that aims to build a strong research culture among law students. The Committee provides a space for students to explore contemporary legal issues through research, writing, and open discussion. From organising workshops and paper presentations to hosting interactive sessions and competitions, it helps students develop their analytical and research skills in a hands-on way.

The Jamia Student Law Review Blog is an academic initiative run by the students of the Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. - JSLR invites original and unpublished manuscripts from all students of the Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia.
- The submissions must not be pending before any other forum for publication.
- All entries should be submitted only in .doc/.docx format.
- No co-authorship is allowed.
- Submissions made in any other mode shall not be entertained.
NOTE: Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.
Formatting Guidelines
- Word Limit for Blog: 1000-1500 words.
- Font: Times New Roman Ø Font Size: 12 (Body) and 14 (Headings & Sub-headings)
- Line Spacing: 1.5.
- Permissible Plagiarism Limit: 10-15%. (Manuscripts exceeding this limit will be rejected.)
