About the Job
Vaish Associates Advocates is a Mumbai-based office is inviting applications from lawyers for roles in its Banking & Finance, General Corporate, and M&A practice areas.
The opening is for lawyers with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Banking & Finance, General Corporate, and M&A matters. The role involves working on a range of banking and finance transactions and advisory matters, including structured finance, acquisition finance, securitisation, debt restructuring, debt securities issuances, and Fintech-related work.
Eligibility
Applicants should have 1–2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in banking and finance practice.
Candidates should possess strong academic and professional credentials along with excellent analytical, legal research, writing, and communication skills.
Candidates with an additional qualification as a Company Secretary are also welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be expected to:
- Handle matters relating to structured finance, acquisition finance, securitisation, debt restructuring, debt securities issuances, and Fintech.
- Undertake legal due diligence.
- Manage transaction execution and closing.
- Provide strategic regulatory and legal advisory support.
Skills and Attributes
Ideal candidates should be highly organised and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Salary
Selected candidates will be offered remuneration commensurate with their experience and skillsets.
