About the Job

Panda Law is looking to hire Associates to join their Corporate Advisory and Commercial Disputes team.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) degree.
  • Minimum PQE: 0-2 years.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws including the Companies Act, 2013, Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, and Indian Contracts Act, 1872.
  • Candidate should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills and capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities for Corporate Advisory:

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to understand the relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide clients with well-reasoned legal opinions based on thorough research and analysis.
  • Advise clients on labor law issues, such as employment contracts, workplace policies, dispute resolution, and compliance with labor regulations.
  • Advise clients on matters related to corporate law including corporate governance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents and agreements and ensure all agreements are legally sound and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in agreements, providing clients with secure and favorable terms.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their legal needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities for Dispute Resolution:

  • Provide legal representation to clients involved in commercial disputes.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to understand the relevant laws, regulations, and precedents applicable to each dispute.
  • Develop and implement effective legal strategies to resolve disputes in a manner that aligns with the client’s objectives and interests.
  • Engage in negotiation and mediation processes to reach amicable resolutions with opposing parties, while advocating for the best interests of our clients.
  • Represent clients in arbitration proceedings or court litigation when disputes cannot be resolved through negotiation or mediation.
  • Manage all aspects of the dispute resolution process, including case strategy, document preparation, and deadline management.
  • Review contractual agreements to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and mitigate potential disputes.
