About the Job

KMJ Legal is looking for a Research Associate with a strong legal background and a keen interest in public policy, legal research, and regulatory frameworks. This role is ideal for law graduates or young lawyers (0.5–2 years PQE) who are eager to delve deeper into strengthening their analytical and research skills.

Eligibility

• A law graduate (LL.B. / B.A. LL.B.) from a recognised institution
• Strong research and writing skills
• Interest in legal policy, regulatory analysis, and legal reform
• Prior experience in writing papers, reports, or articles is a plus
• Excellent command of English and legal language
• Proactive and detail-oriented mindset
• Residing around South Delhi

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth legal and policy research on various subjects including commercial, civil, criminal, and constitutional law
• Assist in drafting legal reports, research notes, and policy briefs
• Support ongoing projects involving stakeholder consultations, comparative legal analysis, and legislative reviews
• Track legal and policy developments across sectors

Salary

As per industry standards and relevant experience.
