About the Opportunity

TMGURU LLP, a leading IPR boutique firm, is looking for a motivated Associate to join our Trademark and Copyright prosecution team!

Qualifications

• Must have: A law degree from a recognized university.
• Preferred: 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in IPR Prosecution, especially with an IPR law firm.
• Fresher: Enthusiastic candidates eager to learn IPR laws are also encouraged to apply (with prior experience in IPR i.e. internships in IPR)
• Enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi.
• Strong command of English and proficiency in MS-Word and MS-Excel.

Role & Responsibilities include but not limited to

• Conduct public searches and prepare comprehensive reports including opinions.
• Draft and file Trademark applications and examination replies.
• Handle oppositions, counterstatements, rectifications, and evidences.
• Draft and file written submissions after show cause hearings.
• Maintain and update the office’s trademark list.
• Comfortable commuting to the Trademark Registry in Dwarka, Delhi.
• Briefing clients through email about their Application status
• Miscellaneous litigation work such drafting of legal notices, suits & attending hearing before district courts, High Court & NCLT
