The commission’s function is to research and advise the government on legal reform, and is composition of legal experts, and headed by a retired judge. The commission is established for a fixed tenure and works as an advisory body to the Ministry of Law and Justice.
About the Job
The Law Commission of India, under the Ministry of Law and Justice, has announced an opportunity for legal professionals to be empanelled as Legal Consultants on a contractual basis. These consultants will assist in research and documentation supporting the Commission’s legislative work and reform initiatives.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law – LL.B./B.A. LL.B./B.Sc. LL.B. from a recognized university.
- Good research and legal writing skills in English.
- Proficiency in document preparation, PPTs, and data handling.
Salary
₹60,000 (fixed, consolidated)
