About the Job

Looking for a Legal Associate who’s passionate about the law and keen to engage on the business side of transactions, the person should be comfortable drafting, negotiating, and advising across commercial and regulatory matters.

About the practice

A boutique practice focused on India’s renewable energy sector. I work closely with project developers, IPPs, and EPC contractors on contracts, regulatory compliance across the renewable energy sector. The position offer hands-on exposure, real responsibility from Day 1, and the opportunity to work on high-impact deals that are shaping India’s clean energy future.

Eligibility

• BBA LLB from a recognized university in India.
• AIBE qualified and enrolled with a State Bar Council.
• 1–3 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal team.
• Strong drafting and language skills.
• Exposure to infrastructure or energy sector preferred.
• Interest in the renewable energy space and comfort with business-side engagement.
• Proficient in MS word. MS Excel proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drafting Turbine Supply Agreements, EPC Contracts, and Land Aggregation Agreements.
• Supporting M&A transactions and legal due diligence.
• Advising clients on tax and regulatory matters.
• Working across legal, commercial, and operational teams to close complex renewable energy deals.
