Week 2: Gender-Based Violence and Legal Remedies

Class 3: Domestic Violence and Legal Responses

  • The Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act
  • Case studies and legal analysis
  • Support mechanisms and NGOs combating domestic violence

Class 4: Sexual Harassment at Workplace

  • The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act
  • Legal obligations for employers and employees
  • Role of internal committees and legal redressal mechanisms

Week 3: Reproductive Rights and Family Laws

Class 5: Reproductive Rights

  • Right to reproductive health
  • Abortion laws and challenges
  • Maternity benefits and workplace policies

Class 8: Advocacy Strategies for Women’s Rights

Course Mentors

Advocate Chadha is practising in the Delhi High Court. She is a 3rd generation lawyer with excellent and in-depth experience. She is excellent in advisory and litigation of Civil, IBC, Matrimony, Family, Cheque bounce, and Succession. She is empanelled with leading companies and institutions.
