About the Job

Desai Billimoria & Associates is hiring a Non-Litigation Associate for its Mumbai office. The role involves drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, conducting legal research, and supporting the firm’s litigation team.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognised law school in India.
• 1–2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in assisting and/or independently handling legal transactions.
• Experience in drafting and reviewing legal agreements.
• Candidates must be based in Mumbai.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review a wide range of commercial contracts, including:
  • Leave and License Agreements
  • Lease Agreements
  • Sale Agreements
  • Development Agreements
  • PAAAs
  • Legal Notices
• Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, and regulatory issues.
• Work on matters relating to the Companies Act, FEMA, and SEBI regulations.
• Support and assist the litigation team.

Salary

Negotiable, depending on the candidate’s experience.
