About the Job

3M is hiring for the position of Analyst – Legal as part of its Global Legal Service Center (GLSC). The role involves supporting 3M Legal Affairs across multiple practice areas including Business Counsel, Employment & Benefits, and Legal Operations.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from an accredited institution with strong academic credentials
• Minimum 4 years of experience in general legal services or in-house legal support
• Strong legal judgment and ability to apply rules, playbooks, and precedents
• High attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Experience reviewing marketing or promotional materials
• Familiarity with regulated claims, disclaimers, and product communications
• Exposure to legal operations or shared service environments
• Comfort with legal technology and AI-enabled tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Additional legal certifications or relevant continuing legal education

Responsibilities

• Review marketing, promotional, and business collaterals for legal compliance
• Identify risks related to claims substantiation, disclaimers, trademarks, and third-party materials
• Apply legal judgment and escalate issues where necessary
• Support legal services related to Business Counsel and Employment & Benefits teams
• Create, review, and improve process documentation and reporting
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including legal technology and AI tools
