One thing to keep in mind is apply at least 2 or 3 months before the proposed month that you’ll be interning.

Also, those who cannot join office internship because they are far away so they can go for virtual Internship program (Just state this in your email)

Work Profile/Main tasks

Our work mainly involved research on landmark cases, preparation of case briefs or case notes, sometimes we were also asked to prepare a research note on a specific or general topic like Capital Punishment or Justice Delayed is Justice Denied etc.  One time we asked to combine in a group and research and present any schedule of Indian Constitution.  Though this we also got the opportunity to attend APN Annual Ceremony at Vigyaan Bhavan with personality like Hon’ble Minister Anurag Thakur, Nitin Gadkari etc were present there. This was the best of day during the internship. I also got the opportunity to join the coordination committee of Senior Counsels for Better Academic & Educational Competence. By far, this was the best internship experience ever.

Work environment

Office had a healthy work environment where everyone who was our senior be it any associate or our internship coordinator or administrative staff, everyone was friendly & encouraging.

I got to attend various events other than the legal research work.

Stipend (if any)

No Stipend but getting an opportunity to work under such big personality is all I needed.
