You will also need to be able to build close relationships with the authorities responsible for processing your client’s applications. Finally, because of the human relationships immigration lawyers have to maintain, it is beneficial to have good language skills. Often, immigration law firms are multilingual enterprises, with staff specialising in certain areas depending on the languages they can speak.
