About the Jindal Global Law School (JGLS)

n 2009, JGU began its first academic session with the establishment of India’s first global law school. JGLS is committed to providing global legal education to its students. To fulfill this objective, the curriculum and pedagogy is designed to give extensive exposure to students to domestic, international and comparative law courses.

JGLS has also entered into collaborations, exchange programmes, research partnerships and other forms of engagement and interaction with top universities and institutions across the globe which are willing to share their invaluable intellectual resources developed over decades. There are faculty and student exchange programmes and academic collaboration arrangements with leading law schools, such as Harvard, Yale, NYU, Sydney, Keio and many other reputed universities in the world. All these attributes make it JGLS the best law school in Delhi. 

About the JFIEL

The Jindal Forum for International and Economic Laws (JFIEL) is an online, student-led and peer-reviewed platform with an aim to analyse legal developments and foster discourse in the field of international law and the international economic arena. It has been recognized as one of the Top 25 International Law blogs in the world in 2020 and 2021.JFIEL welcomes original and previously unpublished submissions on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Themes for Contributions

Kindly note that this is merely an indicative list of themes that the JFIEL seeks to engage with, in terms of generating a wider discourse. It is by no means exhaustive!

Guidelines for Submission

• Contributions must be between 1000-1200 words in length. Longer or shorter articles may be submitted and the limit is subject to flexibility based on editorial discretion (case-to-case basis).

• We request all contributors to send a short biography (one or two lines) in the email containing the submission.

• All contributions must be submitted along with four to five relevant keywords.

• All contributions must contain relevant hyperlinks within the document, citing appropriate sources. This includes all cases, articles, international instruments, and/or other sources. Please do not use footnotes.

• Co-authorship is permitted up to a maximum of two people, the details of which must be shared with the editors.

• Contributions submitted must be cogent and concise. There is a preference for pieces that analyse contemporary legal developments.

• Kindly refrain from sending us abstracts. In case you are unsure about whether a topic falls within the scope of the blog, feel free to email us! We are also happy to work with you to develop a theme in case you have a pitch.

• At present, we accept contributions only in English.

• In case authors seeks to cross-post their piece published on the JFIEL platform, the cross-post must indicate that the article was first published on JFIEL along with the relevant link to the piece.
