NLSIU Team Wins Top Honours at 6th VITSOL Moot Court Competition 2026

The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) proudly congratulates its students on their exceptional performance at the 6th VITSOL Moot Court Competition 2026, organised by the Vellore Institute of Technology School of Law, Chennai, held on March 13–14, 2026.

Representing NLSIU, Team NLSIU comprised first-year students of the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme—Anisha Sehgal (Speaker), Narun Yadav (Speaker), and Haripriya Hemanth (Researcher).

Demonstrating outstanding legal acumen and advocacy skills, the team emerged as Winners among 45+ participating teams from across the country. The competition focused on complex issues of intellectual property rights, including passing off, copyright, design, and trademark law.

Adding to the team’s achievements, Narun Yadav was awarded the 3rd Best Speaker, while the team’s memorials secured the 3rd position overall.

The final round was contested against a team from NLIU Bhopal. The valedictory ceremony was presided over by Hon’ble Justice Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy, Judge, Madras High Court.

Following their success, the team presented the trophy on campus to Prof. (Dr.) Sudhir Krishnaswamy, Vice-Chancellor, NLSIU, marking a proud moment for the institution.
