  • Economic Impact (30%): Analyze the direct and indirect effects of the tariff policy on various sectors of the U.S. economy (such as manufacturing, agriculture, services) and global trade. Include any short-term and long-term consequences.
  • Theoretical Framework (20%): Utilize economic theories (e.g., protectionism, comparative advantage, trade theory, etc.) to frame your analysis and explain the rationale behind the tariff policy.
  • Global Implications (20%): Evaluate how the tariff policy affects international trade relations, supply chains, and global market dynamics.
  • Data and Evidence (10%): Provide real-world data, case studies, or historical examples to support your analysis. Empirical evidence and credible sources will be highly valued.
  • Policy Suggestions (10%): Policy recommendations should be based on research outcomes/findings.
