About the Job

Serious Fraud Investigation Office has 3 vacancies for the post of Assistant Director (Corporate Law).

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognised University or Institute;
• Integrated Bachelor’s degree in Law (Five Years) from a recognised University or Institute;
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised University or Institute and Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Responsibilities

• To assist as a member of the investigation team for the examination of investigation cases relating to Corporate Frauds;
• To render assistance in the collection and collation of evidence/recording of statements;
• To provide expertise in matters involving Corporate Law;
• To present evidence for the preparation of reports to be subsequently used in prosecution.
• Any other work assigned from time to time

*Of the three vacancies, one vacancy is reserved for candidates belonging to the category of Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) viz. Multiple Disabilities (MD) i.e. at least two disabilities from the categories of the disabilities viz. Pay Scale

Level- 07 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.

• 30 years for UR and
• 40 years for PwBDs
