Ascendus Law Partners is pleased to announce the elevation of Siddharth Tewari to the position of Partner, recognizing his significant contributions to the firm since its inception and his continued leadership in driving its growth.
Siddharth Tewari is a dual‑licensed legal professional qualified to practice law in India and in the State of New York, USA. He holds an undergraduate degree from Symbiosis Law School, Pune, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Law from The George Washington University, Washington, D.C.
He advises domestic clients across a wide range of corporate and transactional matters, with a strong focus on investment transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property‑driven deals. His practice spans early‑stage and growth investments, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic financial transactions, where he routinely supports clients through the entire transaction lifecycle, from legal structuring and due diligence to documentation, negotiations, and closing, ensuring alignment between commercial objectives, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
A significant part of Siddharth’s work involves intellectual property‑centric transactions, including the licensing, transfer, commercialization, and protection of intangible assets. He also advises on IP portfolio development, prosecution, and enforcement strategies, helping clients maximize value from their intellectual property assets.
In the media and entertainment sector, Siddharth is actively engaged in drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including those relating to events, content creation and production, talent engagements, vendor and service arrangements, branding and marketing initiatives, and strategic partnerships within the creative and content ecosystem.
