Details About the Competition

MAIMS 4th Mock Trial Competition, 2025, aims to provide a platform for students across India to showcase and nurture their research skills by competing in a professional and challenging environment. The 4th Mock Trial Competition, with its theme – ‘The Ethics of Online Comedy Content’ aims to explore where we draw the line between fun and harm in online comedy. In today’s digital world, comedy spreads fast — but so can hate, stereotypes, and misinformation.

Through this theme, we want to encourage thoughtful conversations about how comedians and content creators can be both funny and responsible. It’s about understanding how jokes impact people, respecting boundaries, and promoting a kind of humour that doesn’t come at the cost of someone’s dignity.
