About the Organisation
The V.V. Giri National Labour Institute (VVGNLI) is a premier institution engaged in research, training, education, publication and consultancy on labour and related issues in India. Established in 1974, the Institute functions as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. Over the years, the Institute has played a crucial role in promoting informed dialogue and policy-oriented research on labour, employment and industrial relations.
IIMT College of Law, Greater Noida, established in 2015 under the aegis of IIMT Group of Colleges, is committed to promoting excellence in legal education, research and professional training. The College offers B.A. LL.B., B.Com. LL.B. and LL.B. programmes and continuously strives to provide a dynamic academic environment for students and faculty. About the Conference Over the years, the institution has actively organized seminars, conferences, moot court competitions, workshops, debates and legal awareness programmes on contemporary legal issues. These initiatives aim to encourage academic discussion, critical thinking and research-oriented learning among students and scholars. About the Seminar/Conference
The National Conference titled “Transforming Labour Governance in India: New Labour Codes as a Pathway to Viksit Bharat @2047” focuses on transformation of India’s labour law framework through the four Labour Codes. These reforms aim to streamline labour regulations, strengthen social security mechanisms and improve the balance between workers’ welfare and economic development.
In the broader context of the national vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, labour governance reforms play a crucial role in building an inclusive and sustainable economic ecosystem.
The National Conference on “Transforming Labour Governance in India: New Labour Codes as a Pathway to Viksit Bharat @2047” aims to bring together academicians, policymakers, legal professionals, researchers, industry experts and students to deliberate on contemporary issues, challenges and opportunities arising from the implementation of the new Labour Codes.

About Call for Papers
Original and unpublished research papers are invited from academicians, researchers, legal professionals, industry experts and students on the theme and sub-themes of the conference.

Top 10 papers will be published in an esteemed law journal with ISSN. Selected and physically presented papers will be considered for publication in an ISBN approved edited book or conference proceedings.
