The Precept-Law Offices Merges Practice with HSA Advocates

HSA Advocates is pleased to announce that effective 15th August 2026, The Precept-Law Offices has merged its practice with HSA. Manish Singh, Ritesh Singh, Gaurav Mahajan and Nitin Tyagi, along with their respective teams from The Precept-Law Offices, are joining HSA Advocates as Partners. They will be based out of HSA’s Delhi office. This is the second significant merger this year, following the earlier merger with Shashank Singh Associates.

With this merger, HSA Advocates will be further strengthening its practice across dispute resolution and arbitration, insolvency and restructuring, international trade and customs, aviation, energy and infrastructure, taxation, and technology and data privacy law (with an active cross-border India-UAE practice), areas that are core to the practice of The Precept-Law Offices.

Manish Singh has over 19 years of experience advising on energy and infrastructure, land due diligence, project finance and general corporate and commercial matters. He has advised marquee clients including Azure Power, IRCON, AECOM and Jubilant Foodworks on high-value transactions and regulatory mandates. He has also led litigation and regulatory matters across the power sector, including proceedings before the CERC, SERCs and APTEL.

Ritesh Singh has over 19 years of experience advising promoters, multinational corporations and financial institutions on high-stakes disputes and regulatory investigations. He specialises in international trade and customs/DRI matters, white-collar crime, aviation, insolvency and arbitration, and maintains an active India-UAE cross-border practice. He has been recognised with the “Global Trade Lawyer of the Year” award at the Global Legal Summit, UAE, and named among The Times of India’s “Visionary Personalities to Look Out For”.

Gaurav Mahajan has over 20 years of experience in arbitration, dispute resolution and white-collar crime and enforcement matters. He has also built a strong practice in technology, data privacy and AI ethics advisory, including advisory work relating to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. He has advised clients including Amazon, Tata Steel and LG Electronics, and served as a mentor in the AI Impact Summit under the India AI Mission by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).

Nitin Tyagi has over 20 years of experience advising multinational enterprises and Indian corporations on taxation matters. He specialises in GST, income tax, international taxation and tax-efficient structuring for mergers and acquisitions. He previously worked with leading global professional services firms including Deloitte, PwC and KPMG.
