About the Job

Azurity Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced in-house counsel for the post of Senior Manager to support its Global Infrastructure Function, including Finance, IT/Digital, Workplace Services, HR, and EPMO functions.

The role involves handling statutory compliance, contracts, legal documentation, advisory work, and legal strategy while collaborating with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a reputed university.
• 3–9 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in supporting an in-house legal department.
• Experience in handling cross-border contracts and global stakeholder management.
• Strong understanding of legal requirements related to Finance, IT/Digital, Workplace Services, HR, and EPMO functions.
• Experience working with Contract Lifecycle Management Platforms such as Ironclad.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with DocuSign and Box.com preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple complex tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a Legal Business Partner for relevant departments.
• Understand business operations, products, strategies, and transactions.
• Attend meetings, identify legal risks, and provide mitigation strategies.
• Ensure timely completion of legal requirements for smooth business operations.
• Coordinate closely with the India General Counsel and legal team members.

Contracts

• Draft, review, and negotiate domestic and cross-border agreements including:
• Service Agreements
• SaaS Agreements
• Consulting Agreements
• Subscription Agreements
• Lease Agreements
• Engagement Letters
• Offer Letters
• Employment Agreements
• Statements of Work
• Change Orders
• Purchase Orders and related documents
• Develop contract playbooks and checklists.
• Ensure risk mitigation and protection of intellectual property and commercial interests.
• Guide stakeholders on contractual interpretation and compliance.
• Manage legal contract documentation and reporting.

Contract Lifecycle Management

• Manage and oversee the contract lifecycle using Ironclad.
• Coordinate contract creation, tracking, renewals, amendments, and execution.
• Assist stakeholders in using the Contract Lifecycle Management Platform effectively.
• Handle metadata abstraction and tagging in Ironclad.
• Coordinate execution processes through DocuSign.
• Improve legal workflows and contract management procedures.

General Duties

• Conduct legal risk assessments and issue analysis.
• Respond to legal support requests from internal teams.
• Prepare reports and presentations.
• Support transactional due diligence.
• Assist with special projects and legal department initiatives.
