About the Job

DESRI is seeking a Senior Analyst/Manager – Legal & Compliance to join its Hyderabad office. The selected candidate will be part of a highly skilled legal and compliance team supporting the company’s renewable energy business and internal corporate functions.

The role involves advising internal stakeholders on legal, contractual, employment, and regulatory matters while helping ensure efficient legal operations and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including:
    • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
    • Vendor contracts
    • Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
    • Employment agreements
    • Consultancy agreements
    • Other routine business contracts
  • Support employment-related legal matters, including:
    • Employment agreements and amendments
    • HR policies
    • Routine employment law queries
  • Provide general corporate legal support and legal research
  • Advise on evolving legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to business operations
  • Maintain and improve legal trackers, templates, playbooks, and document repositories
  • Support consistency, operational efficiency, and audit readiness across legal processes

Eligibility

Candidates should possess:

  • A law degree with a strong academic record
  • Strong experience in commercial contract review and negotiation
  • Sound legal judgment and the ability to provide practical, business-oriented solutions
  • Strong grounding in corporate advisory work, legal research, and contract support
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and a solution-oriented approach

Experience Required

  • 4–6 years of post-qualification experience
  • Experience in independently reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Experience in a law firm or a combination of law firm and in-house legal roles is preferred
