About the Opportunity

National Law University Delhi (NLUD) invites applications for the position of Full-time Research Associate on a contractual basis for a project on Health and Digital Rights. The project is funded under the Indian Council of Social Science Research 2025-26 and focuses on evaluating the jurisprudential, socioeconomic and statistical implications within Health, Law and technology. The appointment is for an initial six-month period, with the possibility of a further six-month extension—making the total recruitment period up to 12 months—subject to performance and project requirements.

Eligibility

• MA/MSc/MPhil in Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, Data Science, or AI
• OR
• Ph.D. (including final submission stage) in relevant fields
• Ability to conduct empirical analysis, policy review, and legal research
• Strong drafting and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office

Desirable

• Background in law, public policy, or regulatory studies
• Experience in law & technology domains (privacy, fintech, etc.)
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools
