About the Job

PNB Housing Finance is hiring for the position of National Manager – Legal Collections. The role is suited for experienced legal professionals with extensive expertise in recovery litigation, legal strategy, and high-value dispute management.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing legal recovery matters, handling litigation, developing legal recovery policies, and providing legal support across the organisation. The role also involves coordinating with external law firms and advising various business functions on legal matters.

Eligibility

• Law Graduate.
• 15–22 years of experience, preferably in the mortgage industry.

Responsibilities

• Handle recovery litigation using legal remedies under the SARFAESI Act, Arbitration, Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, FIRs, the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (litigation before NCLT), recovery (summary) suits, and Section 156(3) CrPC.
• Manage repossession of properties through the SARFAESI route.
• Develop and update legal recovery policies and recommend appropriate legal tools for different recovery scenarios.
• Work strategically to reduce Non-Performing Assets (NPAs).
• Defend litigation initiated against the company, particularly matters involving high-value claims.
• Handle employee-related litigation, including conducting departmental inquiries.
• Engage and manage reputed law firms for structured transactions and high-value recovery litigation.
• Provide legal advice and support to various functions within the organisation.
