About the Job
Peritum Partners is hiring an Associate to join its General Corporate and Transactions practice in Chennai. The role will primarily involve reviewing and drafting commercial and transactional contracts, supporting due diligence and transaction documentation, and assisting with corporate advisory matters.
Eligibility
- 1–2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Relevant experience in transactional matters, including due diligence and transaction documentation.
- Strong understanding of General Corporate and Transactional Law.
- Good drafting and redlining skills for commercial contracts.
- Ability to conduct legal research and draft advisory notes and opinions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Review and draft commercial contracts.
- Review and draft transactional agreements and documentation.
- Assist with due diligence exercises.
- Support transaction documentation and related legal work.
- Conduct legal research.
- Prepare advisory notes and legal opinions.
