About the Job

O&P is seeking a Legal Associate to assist with various tasks including in-house contract drafting, agreement execution, legal research, paperwork management, project support for tenders, participation in client interviews, and gaining exposure to daily operations in the legal field.

Eligibility

The ideal candidate should be B.A. LLB Hons with 1-3 years of work experience. Previous experience in the following areas is preferred:

• Working with confidential documents and maintaining confidentiality.
• Contract formation, preparation, negotiation, review, and drafting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in drafting and editing contract templates.
• Leading tenders and RFPs for scaling international online dispute resolution JV partnership.
• Conducting client meetings and legal research as required, and supporting smaller projects.
• Drafting, vetting and development of standard form of contracts such as engagement letters, consulting agreements, NDA etc.
• Organizing legal memoranda and client correspondence.
• Creating retainer agreements, contact letters, and various client publications and handouts.
• Conducting client intake and participating in client interactions.
• Observing and participating in client meetings and outreach initiatives.
