About the Job

They are looking to hire lawyers across levels here at Circle Partners!

They are a small law firm, run on a simple philosophy that all associates will draft, will appear and argue before courts, will engage directly with the clients, and will work on cases from the ground up. There is also a not-inconsequential amount of very interesting corporate and advisory work. They also take up pro-bono work. Major practice areas are corporate commercial disputes, white-collar criminal practice, insolvency law etc, across forums.

Eligibility

1 vacancy: minimum 5 years PQE

Apply with the expectation that you’ll be at a senior role, with significant responsibility as well as independence. You will also be expected to stay and grow with us, long-term.

2 Vacancies: 1-2 Year PQE

You will get lots of training, and our hope is to give you space to grow – in your practice as well as position. At this level, adapting to and working within our systems and processes will also become important.

Notes

• This is not chamber practice, juniors are not expected to work as an accessory to my individual practice. Self-driven lawyers would excel here.
• They don’t like long working hours and late nights, usually. I consistently strive to lay out workload and mandates well in advance, and expect our lawyers to manage and prioritise their timelines accordingly.
• They don’t mind giving up on quantity if it means they can keep working on quality mandates doing quality work.
• A healthy, fun, and interactive work environment is non-negotiable for me. We typically spend around half our lives at work, there is no reason for that half to be unhappy.
