About the Job
Triumvir Law is hiring for two positions in Bengaluru:
Senior Associate / Principal Associate — General Corporate, PE & VC: One opening is available at either level, depending on experience. The role requires strong experience in corporate transactions, particularly PE, VC, and M&A, along with the ability to lead matters, draft and negotiate agreements, manage clients, and take and defend legal positions.
Head of Business Development: The role involves working closely with the partners to support the growth of the firm, primarily in India, by building relationships, strengthening existing relationships, identifying opportunities, and developing business conversations. International relationships will also form part of the role.
Eligibility
- For Senior Associate / Principal Associate: Strong experience in corporate transactions, particularly PE, VC, and M&A.
- Ability to lead matters, draft and negotiate agreements, manage clients, and take responsibility.
- Good judgment and clear drafting skills.
- For Head of Business Development: Understanding of how law firms or professional services businesses operate.
- Strong writing skills, initiative, and ability to follow through.
- Ability to build and strengthen professional relationships.
- International relationships will form part of the Business Development role.
Responsibilities
- Lead corporate transactions and matters, particularly in PE, VC, and M&A.
- Draft and negotiate agreements.
- Manage client relationships.
- Take legal positions and defend them.
- Build relationships and strengthen existing relationships for the firm.
- Identify business opportunities and ensure that conversations progress.
- Work with the partners on the firm’s growth, primarily in India.
- Manage international relationships as part of the Business Development role.
