The Adjudicatory Board for Major Ports (ABMP), constituted under the Major Port Authorities Act, 2021, is a quasi-judicial body with powers similar to a civil court for handling disputes and regulatory matters related to major ports in India.

About the Job

Applications are invited for the position of Law Research Associate (LRA) on a contractual basis. The Board seeks to fill:

  • 1 post in Ahmedabad
  • 2 posts in Mumbai

Eligibility

  • Age Limit– 21–35 Years
  • Candidate should be a Graduate in Law (including Integrated Degree Course in Law under 10+2+3+3 or 10+2+5 pattern) with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from any School/College/University/Institute established by law in India and recognized by the Bar Council of India for admission as Advocate or Attorney of an Indian Court
  • Candidates who have passed all examinations within the duration of their course are eligible to apply
  • Candidates must have good knowledge of computer operations and commonly used software such as MS Office
  • Candidates must possess strong research and analytical skills along with writing abilities, including retrieval of information from platforms such as eSCR, Manupatra, SCC Online, CaseMine, etc.

Experience (Desirable)

3 years of experience in judicial or legal work in the Supreme Court, High Court, or any other Tribunals/Courts is desirable

Remuneration

Rs. 65,000/- per month
