About the Central Consumer Protection Authority
The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has been established under Section 10 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 to regulate matters relating to consumer rights violations, unfair trade practices, and misleading advertisements, and to protect and enforce consumer rights.
About the Internship
CCPA is inviting applications for its Short Term Internship Programme (2 Months) for law students across India. The programme is aimed at providing meaningful learning opportunities and practical exposure in consumer protection law and policy.

Mode & Timings
- Full-Time Internship
- Monday to Friday
- 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Number of Interns
06 Interns will be selected.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be studying in the:
- 4th or 5th year of an integrated 5-year law course, or
- 3rd/final year of a 3-year law course
- Have consistently secured a minimum of 60% marks (6 CGPA) in:
- Class XII
- All semesters of the law programme pursued
Important Instructions
- Attendance in all internship sessions is mandatory.
- Applications through email or post will not be accepted.
- Incomplete applications are liable to rejection.
Certificate
Interns successfully completing the programme will receive a Certificate of Participation based on punctuality, discipline, and timely submission of assigned work.

- Online application form
- 300-word Statement of Purpose
- Self-attested mark sheets from Class XII onwards
- Letter of Recommendation (LOR) from Dean/HOD/Principal
- Details of moot courts, internships, research projects, and co-curricular activities may also be included.
