About the Internship

The programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic legal education and courtroom practice through hands-on mentorship and real-case exposure, with a primary focus on criminal litigation.

Nature of Work

Selected interns will be involved in:

• Appearances and assistance before the Orissa High Court, Sessions Courts, Lower Courts, and Tribunals
• Drafting pleadings, applications, and written submissions
• Conducting legal research and procedural analysis
• Preparing case notes and compilations
• Briefing senior counsel
• Assisting in client conferences and day-to-day chamber work
• Supporting litigation strategy and matter management
• The practice is predominantly criminal, with exposure to allied civil and writ matters.
• Prior chamber experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
