About the Job
A reputed law firm in Mumbai is seeking to hire an Advocate Assistant to support advocates in legal research, drafting, documentation, court-related work, and case management. The role is suitable for fresh law graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of experience who wish to build a career in litigation and legal practice.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree or final-year law student.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience may apply.
- Basic knowledge of legal procedures and court processes.
- Good legal research and drafting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, PDF tools, and legal research platforms.
Responsibilities
- Assist advocates in preparing legal documents, notices, applications, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and compile relevant case laws and legal precedents.
- Maintain case files, legal records, and documentation.
- Coordinate court filings and track hearing schedules.
- Assist in drafting briefs, submissions, and legal reports.
- Support day-to-day litigation and arbitration-related activities.
- Organise digital and physical legal documents.
