Herbalife is looking for a Senior Officer – Legal to work as an individual contributor. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal agreements, handling legal notices, providing legal guidance to business functions, and supporting corporate and regulatory compliance.

Eligibility
- LL.B. from a reputed university in India.
- Company Secretary and Member of ICSI.
- 4–7 years of experience.
- Sharp legal knowledge and expertise in contract drafting and negotiation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to take independent decisions and work with senior leadership.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player.
- Thorough knowledge of Consumer Protection Law, Intellectual Property, and other corporate laws is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal contracts, agreements, and documents while protecting the organisation’s interests.
- Respond to legal notices received from regulatory authorities in a timely manner.
- Issue legal notices to various parties when required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide proactive, practical, and qualitative legal support and guidance.
- Support the legal review of marketing materials and training materials.
- Provide legal support for events.
- Prepare documents for Board and Shareholders’ Meetings.
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 and FEMA.
- Ensure regulatory filings are completed on time.
- Support statutory audits, dividend payouts, capitalisation of profits, and corporate secretarial matters.

The role requires quick learning, timely delivery, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and high integrity. Flexibility, willingness to take up new assignments, and team collaboration are also required.
