About Organization

Terra Economics & Analytics Lab (TEAL), is an end-to-end decision support platform for land and property for banks, housing finance companies, real estate/infrastructure developers, retail investors and transacting parties. The analytical tools and services utilise collated, organised and interpreted data from land records, property registrations, tax filings, court mandates, land-use regulations, master plans, cadastral surveys, infrastructure plans, municipal by-laws, building codes and planning requirements.

About the Job

As a Legal Executive, you will be primarily working on the preparation of Title Due Diligence Reports and providing Legal Opinions that would empower our clients and help them simplify their property due diligence journey.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Verifying and Drafting Title Due Diligence Reports and providing Legal opinions for properties in Maharashtra.
• Effective management of cases allotted and timely reporting of escalations.
• Coordinating with external counsels and clients.
• Conducting research on land laws of different states and coordinating with vendors for securing documents and reports.
• Drafting and vetting of contracts and other documents.
• Handling other related tasks, assigned on a time-to-time basis.

Eligibility

We’re looking for someone who:

• Can work with confidential documents.
• Has a good understanding of real estate laws. (Having sound knowledge of RERA is an added advantage)
• Pays attention to detail.
• Can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Has good communication skills.
• Is proficient in the Marathi language (Ability to read in Marathi is a must)
• Having prior experience in real estate law and knowledge of basic property documentation is an added advantage.
