Saffron Magicworks is seeking a full-time Legal Associate to join its office in Juhu, Mumbai. The role is designed for legal professionals interested in building a career at the intersection of law, creativity, and the entertainment business. The selected candidate will work on matters involving films, digital content, television programming, intellectual property, and commercial agreements in the media and entertainment space.
Position
Legal Associate – Media & Entertainment
Eligibility
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in the media and entertainment sector.
- Strong understanding of copyright, intellectual property, and related laws.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements relating to content, talent, production, licensing, and allied rights.
- Ability to work closely with creative, business, financial, and production teams.
- Excellent drafting, research, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and commercially aware approach to legal work.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements relating to content, talent, production, licensing, and allied rights.
- Work on legal matters relating to feature films, digital and streaming content, television and unscripted programming.
- Support intellectual property development and protection.
- Handle talent, production, and commercial agreements.
- Collaborate with creative, business, financial, and production teams.
Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and merit.
