About the Role

WeWork India is hiring a Senior Associate, Legal to join its Legal Team. The role blends legal expertise with a strong understanding of business operations and industry-specific laws, supporting contract compliance, risk management, and process improvements across the organisation.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Law degree from an accredited university
  • 2–3 years post-qualification experience in a major multinational company or leading law firm
  • Strong academic credentials with significant commercial and contracting experience
  • Excellent legal drafting and communication skills in English
  • Experience in using and managing compliance monitoring tools
  • Proactive, intellectually curious, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently from intake through execution
  • Willingness to travel for business as required

Responsibilities

The Senior Associate, Legal will be responsible for:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating CapEx and project-related legal and commercial agreements, including construction, fit-out, vendor, and supply contracts
  • Providing legal and commercial support to cross-functional teams such as procurement, projects, real estate, engineering, finance, and other stakeholders
  • Supporting contracting processes and documentation, including templates, amendments, work orders, and process improvements
  • Identifying and managing legal and commercial risks associated with CapEx transactions and vendor engagements
  • Coordinating with external consultants and legal counsel
  • Supporting compliance, governance, and dispute-related matters, including drafting replies to legal notices
  • Undertaking additional legal projects as required in line with business needs
