The Ministry of Mines, Government of India, is responsible for the survey and exploration of minerals (excluding petroleum, natural gas, and atomic minerals), development of the mining sector, and administration of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957. The Ministry plays a key role in formulating policies and promoting sustainable development of India’s mineral resources.

About the Job

The Ministry of Mines is inviting applications for Legal Associates on a contractual basis to strengthen its legal functions. The recruitment includes one position each for Senior Legal Associate and Legal Associate.

Eligibility

  • LL.B. or LL.M. from a Bar Council of India-recognized University/Institution.
  • Maximum age: 45 years.

Positions

  • Senior Legal Associate – 1 Post
  • Legal Associate – 1 Post

Remuneration

  • Senior Legal Associate: ₹1,75,000 per month
  • Legal Associate: ₹1,50,000 per month
