Qualcomm India Private Limited is hiring a Senior IP Legal Specialist in Bangalore. The role involves intellectual property docketing, prosecution support, and IP portfolio management across US and international jurisdictions.

Eligibility

• 4+ years of substantive IP prosecution experience at a major law firm, corporation, or IP management company
• Experience with IP docketing systems preferred
• College graduate with a relevant degree
• Strong understanding of IP laws and regulations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail
• Proficiency in IP docketing software and related tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree + 3+ years legal experience + 3+ years industry-specific legal experience
• OR
• Paralegal Certificate + 3+ years legal experience + 3+ years industry-specific legal experience
• OR
• High School Diploma + 6+ years legal experience + 6+ years industry-specific legal experience

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the IP docketing system, ensuring accuracy of deadlines and records
• Monitor and track IP-related deadlines across jurisdictions
• Perform quality review of patent applications and filing documents
• Manage formalities in US and foreign jurisdictions
• Review and process incoming IP correspondence
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist in preparing IP activity reports and summaries
• Support portfolio development including filings and renewals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive IP initiatives
