About the Job

National Law University Delhi (NLUD) invites applications for the position of Full-time Research Associate on a contractual basis for a project on Reparations and Victim-Centred Justice under International Criminal Law.

The project is funded under the Research Endeavour Grant (N-REG) 2025-26 of National Law University Delhi and focuses on evaluating reparations jurisprudence within international criminal law.

The appointment is initially for a six-month period, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project
requirements.

NLU Delhi is inviting applications for the position of Research Associate in the areas of:

• Public International Law
• International Criminal Law

Responsibilities

The candidate will be expected to assist in the research work in the relevant area of international criminal law in consultation with the Project Director.

Eligibility

• Law graduate (LL.B. or B.A.LL.B.) and LL.M. (appearing/completed) from a recognized Indian or Foreign University with a good academic record.
• Atleast one peer reviewed publication in quality journal. Previous experience in working on international law related research projects is desirable.
• Knowledge of substantive and procedural international law.
• Proficiency in English.
• Skilled in MS Office applications.

Remuneration

Rs. 35,000/- p.m. consolidated. 

The salary will be funded out of the grants received from the N-REG project directly by National Law University Delhi.
