About the Job

Apple Inc. is hiring for the position of Privacy Counsel in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India under Corporate Functions.

In this role, the candidate will work with the Privacy and Law Enforcement team in Apple EMEIA, with a particular focus on India, supporting privacy-related legal matters across products and services.

Eligibility

Minimum Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of privacy experience in a law firm, business, or regulatory environment
• Knowledge of comprehensive privacy laws, regulators’ guidance and standards
• Law Degree, full India legal qualification
• Excellent English written and verbal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams across the company
• Strong business judgment and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Ability to identify, prioritise, and resolve issues efficiently and practically

Responsibilities

• Assist with escalations regarding privacy complaints, queries, and data subject rights
• Provide advice on requests from courts and law enforcement agencies
• Respond to regulator inquiries and investigations
• Support compliance and auditing frameworks
• Assist with drafting and updating relevant policies and procedures
