About the Job

Saxo Bank is hiring for the position of Apprentice – Data Protection in Gurugram on a full-time onsite basis.

The role focuses on supporting data protection and privacy governance functions, including compliance documentation, privacy assessments, and regulatory support activities.

Eligibility

Educational Background

• Law: B.A. LL.B./LL.M.
• Business Administration/Management
• B.Com: Commerce Graduate
• Semi-qualified Company Secretary (CS)

Preferred Knowledge Areas

• Data Protection and Privacy Governance (GDPR, DPDP Act)
• Risk and Compliance Management
• Information Security and Cyber Security fundamentals
• IT or Technology Governance
• Documentation, Data Analysis, and Compliance Reporting

Profile Requirements

• Professionalism, integrity, and respect for confidentiality
• Curiosity and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work in structured and regulated environments
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail with ability to summarise information clearly

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and quality of Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) across systems and functions
• Assist with privacy assessments such as DPIAs and TIAs, including documentation and follow-up tracking
• Help prepare data protection documentation, trackers, metrics, and audit evidence for reviews
• Support vendor and internal documentation reviews from a data protection and privacy perspective
• Assist in coordinating compliance trackers for GDPR and DPDP Act obligations
• Support delivery of data protection training and awareness activities, including materials and logistics
• Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, security, legal, and business functions under guidance
