About the Job

NLSIU is seeking applications for a full-time contractual Paralegal Assistant position. The role will be based in Assam, with a focus on Goalpara/Matia.

The appointment will initially be for one year and may be extended based on performance.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Law or Social Work, or significant paralegal experience.
  • Fluency in Assamese, both written and spoken.
  • Prior experience working with Legal Services Authorities such as DLSA/SLSA is desirable.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and University norms.
