About the Job

NLSIU is seeking applications for a full-time contractual Paralegal Assistant position. The role will be based in Assam, with a focus on Goalpara/Matia.

The appointment will initially be for one year and may be extended based on performance.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Law or Social Work, or significant paralegal experience.
Fluency in Assamese, both written and spoken.
Prior experience working with Legal Services Authorities such as DLSA/SLSA is desirable.
