NUALS Kochi Wins Best Team Award at 7th Kerala Law Academy Trial Advocacy Competition 2026
The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi, secured the Best Team Award at the 7th Kerala Law Academy Trial Advocacy (Hybrid) Competition 2026.
The national-level competition was organised by Kerala Law Academy Law College, Thiruvananthapuram, in association with the Moot Court Society and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), KLA.

The award-winning NUALS team comprised Goutham Jayasankar, Prarthana Dileep and Lavanya Ramaswami, who represented their university at the competition.
Trial advocacy competitions provide law students with opportunities to develop practical courtroom skills, including case presentation, examination of witnesses, legal arguments and courtroom procedure.
The competition brought attention to the importance of practical legal training and advocacy skills in legal education. NUALS Kochi’s achievement marks another recognition for its student representatives in a national-level legal competition.
