RMLNLU Team Reaches Quarter-Finals, Wins Three Awards at NUALS International Negotiation Competition 2026
A team from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow, comprising Saara Gaur and Bhavishya Goswami, reached the quarter-finals of the 1st NUALS–Khaitan & Co. International Negotiation Competition 2026, securing three additional awards during the competition.
The team received the Best Team in the Octa-Finals and Best Opening Statement awards. Bhavishya Goswami also earned the individual title of Best Negotiator, adding another distinction to the university’s performance.

The competition was organised by the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Society of the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi, in collaboration with Khaitan & Co. The inaugural edition took place in October 2026.
The event provided an international platform for law students to demonstrate negotiation skills through simulated legal and commercial disputes. It focused on practical problem-solving, communication, strategic planning and the ability to develop solutions acceptable to different parties.
