About the Job

The position offers exposure to various aspects of Motor Third-Party claims and litigation. The role involves handling and monitoring MACT claim matters, coordinating with panel advocates and internal stakeholders, reviewing legal documents, analysing liability, and supporting claim assessment, negotiation, and settlement.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or LL.M.
• 0–3 years of experience in Legal, Motor Third-Party Claims, or MACT Litigation.
• Interest in Insurance Law and Litigation.
• Understanding of Motor Accident Claims is an advantage.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work with advocates and multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn the practical aspects of insurance claims and litigation.
• Candidates with relevant MACT, Motor TP, or Insurance Legal experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Handle and monitor MACT claim matters.
• Liaise with panel advocates and internal stakeholders.
• Review pleadings, evidence, and case documents.
• Analyse liability and identify appropriate defence strategies.
• Scrutinise investigation reports and supporting documents.
• Assist in claim assessment, negotiation, and settlement.
• Track litigation proceedings and court awards.
• Review written statements and other legal submissions.
• Maintain case records and ensure timely follow-up on matters.
